Control Room Technician

About the role

The Control Room Technician is responsible for the safe operation and monitoring of the engine production test cell. This position requires technical expertise to execute approved test sequences, monitor live engine parameters, and ensure strict adherence to procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Operate control room systems and execute approved test sequences using HMI/test software.
• Monitor live test parameters (temperature, pressure, vibration, thrust, speed) and perform start, stop, hold, and emergency shutdown procedures.
• Conduct pre‑test and post‑test checks, leak checks, and support rigging/de‑rigging of the unit under test.
• Record test results with full traceability and report discrepancies to the Senior Technician.
• Perform first‑level checks of test equipment, track calibration status and consumables.
• Engage with production schedules, comply with AS9100, and contribute to a safe, lean production process.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or vocational qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years of experience operating test stations, control rooms, or industrial test equipment.
• Ability to read and strictly follow written test procedures and work instructions in English.
• Willingness to work shifts as required by the test schedule.

Required skills

• HMI and test software operation
• Data acquisition (DAQ) systems and instrumentation
• Knowledge of fuel systems, pressurized systems, and rotating machinery
• Familiarity with AS9100 and ISO standards
