Cooling Tower Supervisor

About the role

Tawreed Middle East LLC is seeking an experienced Cooling Tower Supervisor to lead maintenance, inspection, repair and refurbishment activities for cooling towers and related HVAC equipment across its UAE operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and execute cooling tower maintenance, inspection, repair, and refurbishment activities.
• Perform mechanical inspections and troubleshooting of components such as fans, gearboxes, motors, drive shafts and bearings.
• Oversee installation and replacement of cooling tower parts including fill media, drift eliminators, nozzles and louvers.
• Manage mechanical alignment, lubrication, vibration checks and preventive maintenance programmes.
• Identify defects, risks and performance issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Lead technicians and site workers, allocate manpower and ensure quality and timely completion.
• Coordinate activities with customers, subcontractors and internal engineering and operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, safety procedures, work instructions and company quality standards.
• Maintain daily site records, progress updates, inspection checklists and maintenance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on HVAC mechanical maintenance experience, preferably with cooling towers.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
• Strong practical knowledge of gearboxes, motors, bearings, fans and drive systems.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, technical manuals and installation instructions.
• Good leadership, troubleshooting and site coordination skills.
• Proficient written and verbal English communication.
• Basic computer skills, including MS Office and maintenance report preparation.
