Corporate Actions Specialist

About the role

Freedom Finance MENAT is expanding its MENA operations and seeks a meticulous Corporate Actions Specialist for its Abu Dhabi office. You will manage the full lifecycle of corporate actions across global equity and fixed‑income markets, ensuring operational accuracy, tax compliance, and effective stakeholder coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor, capture, and process all corporate actions including dividends, redemptions, rights issues, and tender offers.
• Liaise with custodians, prime brokers, and counterparties to guarantee timely execution.
• Provide clients and internal teams with timely updates on deadlines and outcomes.
• Apply and document withholding tax rules under the QI/QDD framework.
• Verify positions and entitlements to ensure accurate payments.
• Maintain data quality across internal platforms such as TraderNet and other trading systems.
• Identify automation opportunities and drive process‑improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with Back Office, Finance, and Compliance to align reporting and operational standards.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in corporate actions within brokerage, custody, or investment banking.
• Strong knowledge of equity and fixed‑income products.
• Understanding of QI/QDD withholding tax compliance.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to work under tight deadlines.
