About the role

The Specialist, Corporate Affairs will support the delivery of TA’ZIZ’s corporate affairs agenda across the holding company, its 19 legal entities, five joint‑venture companies and future phase organisations. Reporting to the Manager, Corporate Affairs, the role maintains registers, drafts briefing material for senior leadership and coordinates internal inputs for corporate submissions.

Key responsibilities

  • Create and maintain the corporate affairs strategy for all TA’ZIZ entities, from incorporation through steady‑state operations.
  • Monitor licence, renewal, NOC, permit and power‑of‑attorney cycles, keeping a live register of expiry dates and owners.
  • Coordinate internal inputs and external submissions to secure stakeholder approvals, ensuring completeness and compliance.
  • Prepare and quality‑assure briefing notes, position papers and pre‑read packs for the CEO, Board and committees.
  • Maintain the corporate affairs calendar of statutory, shareholder and government commitments and drive owners to meet deadlines.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Corporate Communications, Public Relations, Law or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5‑8 years of experience in corporate affairs, government relations or corporate services.
  • Working knowledge of UAE and Abu Dhabi company licensing, permits, NOCs and power‑of‑attorney processes.
  • Proven ability to prepare material for senior executives and engage with government and regulatory bodies.
  • Strong drafting, communication and interpersonal skills in English and Arabic.

Required skills

  • Ability to gather, synthesise and report corporate affairs information for decision‑making.
  • Working knowledge of UAE corporate, commercial and industrial licensing requirements and relevant authorities.
  • Experience supporting implementation and tracking of stakeholder and corporate affairs plans.
  • Proficiency in preparing accurate briefing notes, submissions and executive‑level meeting material.
  • Skill in identifying and analysing key stakeholders, their interests and influence.
