Corporate Coverage Analyst – Origination Enabler

About the role

The Corporate Coverage Analyst – Origination Enabler will join Deutsche Bank’s Middle East & Africa Coverage team in Dubai. Reporting to senior originators, you will support business origination by analysing financial data, preparing credit risk profiles and creating client‑focused presentations across the bank’s product suite.

Key responsibilities

• Produce high‑quality pitch books, marketing materials and presentation decks that translate complex products and financial data into clear client narratives.
• Conduct in‑depth credit and financial assessments of MEA corporate clients, evaluating capital structures and transaction viability.
• Coordinate KYC onboarding and AML due‑diligence, acting as the primary escalation point for compliance queries.
• Prepare internal briefing memos, pipeline reports and senior leadership briefings for high‑profile client meetings.
• Collaborate with product sales teams, relationship managers and Credit Risk Management officers to facilitate credit requests and annual reviews.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of corporate finance, balance‑sheet analysis and credit underwriting principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; additional fluency in Arabic or French is a plus.
• Proactive, self‑starter attitude with the ability to work across multi‑jurisdictional teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Credit analytical acumen and financial modelling.
• KYC and AML compliance processes.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as Microsoft Co‑Pilot.
