Corporate Lawyer – Equity Capital Markets (Associate/Senior Associate)

About the role

We are seeking an Associate or Senior Associate to join the Equity Capital Markets practice of a leading international law firm in the UAE. The role involves advising issuers, investment banks, financial institutions and corporate clients on a wide range of domestic and cross‑border capital‑markets transactions across the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, follow‑on offerings and other public equity issuances.
• Act for issuers, underwriters, investment banks and corporate clients across the GCC.
• Draft and negotiate transaction documentation and regulatory filings.
• Manage transactions from inception through completion, coordinating with clients and international colleagues.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the region.
• Support business development initiatives, client pitches and thought‑leadership activities.
• Mentor and supervise junior lawyers where appropriate.

Required profile

• Qualified lawyer with experience in Equity Capital Markets gained at a leading international or regional law firm.
• Strong experience advising on IPOs and other equity capital markets transactions.
• Familiarity with GCC stock exchanges and regulatory frameworks.
• Currently based in the UAE.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Commercially minded with strong client‑relationship management abilities.
• Ability to manage matters independently and work effectively across international teams.
