Cost Controller - Catering

About the role

Careers International is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cost Controller for a catering operation in Dubai. The role manages and optimizes costs across all aspects of the business to ensure profitability and efficiency, working closely with other teams.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze food, beverage, labor and overhead costs; identify savings opportunities and review pricing structures
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and financial forecasts, track budget performance and variances, and advise management
• Oversee inventory levels, reconcile inventory and coordinate with procurement to minimize waste and shrinkage
• Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate terms and contracts, and ensure compliance with vendor agreements
• Prepare regular financial reports and cost summaries, maintain accurate records and provide ad-hoc analysis

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field
• Proven experience in cost control, budgeting and financial analysis, preferably in catering or hospitality
• Strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills, able to work with cross-functional teams
• Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
