Cost Estimator for Events and Exhibitions

About the role

We are looking for a Cost Estimator in Dubai with a strong background in events and exhibitions. You will analyse and compile data on all factors influencing the cost of designing, building and delivering exhibition stands or event setups.

Key responsibilities

• Review visuals, technical drawings and design specifications for exhibition stands or events.
• Perform quantity take‑offs and prepare detailed cost breakdowns for materials, equipment, resources and manpower.
• Submit accurate estimates within a 10% market variance and mark‑up costs to achieve a 30% margin.
• Maintain a supplier database, negotiate preferential rates and produce formatted quotations for internal teams.
• Liaise with stand fabricators and suppliers, and brief senior management on initial budget estimates.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cost estimation, preferably in the exhibition or construction sector.
• Ability to work unsociable hours and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of architectural drawings and construction/exhibition estimating processes.
• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Strong negotiation and inter‑departmental communication abilities.
