Costing & Budgeting Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Costing & Budgeting Manager to lead financial planning and cost control for a leading food packaging and FMCG manufacturing operation in Sharjah. The role will oversee manufacturing costing, budgeting, forecasting and profitability analysis, ensuring accurate financial reporting and strategic decision support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain product and factory cost models, incorporating material, labor and overhead components.
• Prepare annual budgets, periodic forecasts and variance analyses to monitor performance against targets.
• Analyse inventory accounting and reconcile discrepancies across the supply chain.
• Generate product profitability reports and provide insights to drive margin improvement.
• Manage factory finance reporting, MIS dashboards and financial statements.
• Lead implementation and ongoing use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations for manufacturing accounting.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in manufacturing finance, preferably in food packaging or FMCG.
• Professional qualification such as CA or CMA.
• Proven expertise in cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
• Strong understanding of inventory accounting and product profitability analysis.
