CPT Technician – Geotechnical Probing Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a CPT Technician to deliver high‑quality cone penetration testing services for our marine and dredging projects. The role involves operating CPT equipment, acquiring geotechnical data, and ensuring safety and compliance on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CPT plant, support vehicles and related tools.
• Perform land‑based and near‑shore CPT probing operations and acquire data according to project scope.
• Liaise with geologists, engineers, consultants and other stakeholders throughout the investigation.
• Provide training, guidance and leadership to crew members on company standards and CPT techniques.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE regulations and quality standards.
• Document incidents, accidents and chargeable activities in line with reporting requirements.
• Communicate any quality or operational concerns to senior personnel promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in CPT operations or similar geotechnical field work.
• Strong understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) practices.
• Ability to train and supervise crew members and promote teamwork.
• Good communication skills to interact with engineers, consultants and clients.

• Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) operation and data acquisition.
