Creative Arts Teacher (Drama & Music)

About the role

Al Ghad Charter School is seeking an enthusiastic Creative Arts Teacher to deliver drama and music lessons for the academic year 2026/2027. The role involves inspiring students, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the school’s mission to excite, challenge, and empower learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging drama and music lessons that meet curriculum standards.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to design interdisciplinary projects and share best practices.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress.
• Assess student work, record outcomes using Target Tracker, and use data to inform future planning.
• Maintain classroom discipline in line with the school’s behaviour policy.
• Work with support staff, such as speech therapists or educational psychologists, when required.

• Strong communication skills at all levels of the school community.
• Reflective practitioner who adapts teaching strategies based on assessment data.
• Ability to manage a diverse classroom and motivate students of varying abilities.
