The role focuses on addressing key health challenges through cutting‑edge areas such as stem cells, personalized medicine, AI in healthcare, and bioengineering, while mentoring students and securing research funding.

Key responsibilities

• Advance innovative trends in healthcare and biomedical sciences, including stem cells, personalized medicine, AI, and bioengineering.
• Lead transformative research aligned with UAEU’s strategic goals and national health priorities.
• Mentor and supervise graduate students, fostering their academic and research success.
• Secure competitive research grants and manage collaborative projects.

Required profile

• MD and PhD or PhD with a strong publication record in high‑impact journals, h‑index of at least 40 and significant citations.
• Proven track record of obtaining competitive research grants and leading collaborative projects.
• Experience teaching and supervising graduate students with demonstrated student success.
• Leadership in research programs, international collaborations, and academic conferences.
• Recognition through awards, invited talks, editorial roles, or similar peer‑recognition.
• Alignment with CMHS, UAEU, and national strategic research priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective teamwork.
