Credit Controller

About the role

Rentokil Initial is hiring a full-time Credit Controller in Dubai. The role focuses on collecting overdue payments, monitoring accounts receivable and keeping customer accounts accurate.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up with customers to collect overdue payments and meet collection targets.
• Monitor accounts receivable and aging reports, prioritizing overdue and high-risk accounts.
• Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Coordinate with Sales, Customer Service and Finance to resolve invoice disputes and payment delays.
• Maintain accurate records of collection activities, payment commitments and customer correspondence.
• Review customer credit exposure and escalate overdue accounts in line with company procedures.
• Prepare collection forecasts and regular reports on outstanding balances.
• Support payment arrangements within approved limits and follow up on agreed commitments.

Required profile

• Previous experience in credit control, collections or accounts receivable, preferably in the UAE.
• A qualification in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to manage a high volume of accounts while meeting deadlines.

Required skills

• Strong communication, negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Good knowledge of account reconciliation and receivables reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems.
