Credit Risk Manager – Leasing & In‑house Finance

About the role

The Credit Risk Manager will lead the assessment and management of credit risk for leasing and in‑house finance activities within Al Futtaim’s automotive divisions. Reporting to senior risk leadership, you will shape risk frameworks, oversee underwriting, and ensure robust governance across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct credit risk assessments for leasing and in‑house finance products, analysing portfolios and collections data.
• Develop and maintain the Credit Risk Framework, including policy guidelines, renewal programmes and portfolio thresholds.
• Produce risk reporting dashboards and monitor key metrics such as product performance, exceptions and vintage trends.
• Underwrite lease applications for individuals (up to 2 units) and corporates (up to 30 units) and credit applications up to AED 200 k for individuals and below AED 1 M for corporates.
• Prepare and present risk newsletters, council decks and credit committee materials within set deadlines.
• Support technology initiatives, including deployment of risk management IT systems and training programmes.
• Manage annual policy reviews and ensure alignment with group risk requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in credit risk analysis, underwriting and risk framework development.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and drive governance processes.
