Credit Specialist

About the role

The Credit Specialist is responsible for managing customer credit activities, monitoring accounts receivable, assessing creditworthiness, and ensuring timely collection of outstanding payments. The role also supports third‑party financing arrangements by coordinating with banks, leasing companies, and other financial institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review and assess new and existing customers' creditworthiness, conduct credit checks, and recommend appropriate credit limits and payment terms.
• Monitor customer credit exposure against approved limits and identify potential credit risks.
• Coordinate with banks, leasing companies, and other financial institutions on third‑party financing applications, documentation, and disbursements.
• Maintain accurate records of financing applications, approval status, and related correspondence.
• Monitor outstanding receivables, prepare aging reports, and follow up on overdue invoices.
• Contact customers regarding outstanding balances, negotiate payment arrangements, and support dispute resolution.
• Regularly review customer accounts to detect changes in payment behavior and manage credit risk.
