Culinary Intern at Luxury Beach Resort

About the role

The InterContinental Fujairah Resort is seeking a Culinary Intern to support daily food production, assist with mise en place, and uphold hygiene standards in a five‑star hotel kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist chefs in food preparation and basic cooking tasks.
• Support daily mise en place and kitchen organization.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Follow instructions and recipes accurately.
• Ensure proper storage and labelling of ingredients.
• Assist in receiving and storing kitchen supplies.
• Comply with hotel policies and health & safety standards.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the Chef or Sous Chef.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
• Previous experience or on‑the‑job training in a similar position.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and as part of a team.
• Positive attitude, attention to detail, and eagerness to learn.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and/or holidays.
