Customer/User Researcher for AI Document Training

About the role
We are partnering with a leading foundational AI lab to hire experienced customer and user researchers who will help train a new language model on professional document, spreadsheet, and slide deck tasks. The role is fully remote, flexible, and paid at $70 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Create, evaluate, and refine AI‑generated documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks across core workflows.
- Conduct moderated usability test findings decks, interview synthesis, thematic coding summaries, and survey design and analysis.
- Develop discussion guides, screener criteria, research repository tagging, insight briefs, and journey‑map documents that translate findings into product recommendations.
Required profile
- 4+ years of experience conducting customer or user research, including interviews, usability testing, and surveys.
- Ownership of the full study lifecycle from discussion guide creation to insight synthesis.
- Excellent written communication and meticulous attention to detail.
