Cyber Security Architect Engineer I (UAE National Only)

About the role

Honeywell Technologies is hiring a Cyber Security Architect/Engineer I in its Cybersecurity Center of Excellence (CoE) in Dubai, open only to UAE nationals. You will join the CoE team to support cybersecurity solution development, product testing, lab validation, technical documentation and cybersecurity engineering. The role suits early-career cybersecurity professionals interested in industrial cybersecurity and Honeywell's cybersecurity solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Support testing, validation and troubleshooting of Honeywell cybersecurity products and solutions
• Maintain and operate the Cyber COE cybersecurity lab environment
• Take part in proof-of-concept, product demonstration and solution validation activities
• Assist with cybersecurity assessments, system reviews and risk evaluations
• Support technical documentation, test reports, procedures and knowledge articles
• Perform basic cybersecurity analysis and identify potential risks and vulnerabilities
• Evaluate new cybersecurity tools, technologies and product features
• Collaborate with engineering, development and project teams
• Help develop and test cybersecurity scripts and automation tools
• Expand knowledge of Honeywell cybersecurity products and industrial cybersecurity technologies
• Support internal training, workshops and technology demonstrations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in cyber security, computer science, information technology, information systems, computer engineering or a related discipline
• 1-2 years of experience in cybersecurity, networking, IT infrastructure, systems administration or related fields; fresh graduates with strong cybersecurity knowledge and hands-on project experience may also be considered
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly, work collaboratively and communicate well verbally and in writing

Required skills

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and best practices
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing, switching)
• Basic knowledge of Windows and Linux
• Exposure to security tools, vulnerability management or system hardening
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell
