Cyber Security Manager – UAE National Only

About the role

We are seeking a UAE National to join Emirates Flight Catering as a Cyber Security Manager within the IT team. The role will lead the cybersecurity agenda, protect the IT environment and enhance the organisation’s security posture.

Key responsibilities

• Lead investigation and root‑cause analysis of cybersecurity incidents and ensure corrective actions.
• Manage cybersecurity risks and support the business in maintaining appropriate security controls.
• Partner with the Security Operations Centre and third‑party providers to detect, respond to and remediate incidents.
• Conduct and oversee vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, technical risk assessments and compliance reviews.
• Drive compliance with information security policies, standards (ISO 27001, CIS Controls, NESA) and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor cybersecurity KPIs, risks and remediation activities, providing visibility to management.
• Collaborate with Internal Audit and stakeholders on IT risk identification, mitigation and closure.
• Lead cybersecurity awareness initiatives to strengthen the security culture.
• Provide leadership and direction to the Cyber Security team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of IT experience, including at least 4 years in IT Security, Cybersecurity, IT Risk or IT Audit.
• Experience working in a complex hybrid environment (on‑premises and cloud).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
• Eligibility: UAE National only.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 27001, CIS Critical Security Controls and NESA frameworks.
• Experience with Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) and GRC methodologies.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, GIAC, CEH or CRISC.
