Cybersecurity Analyst

About the role

The Cybersecurity Analyst will support MUFG’s MENA Systems Team in protecting the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information systems across the region. The role focuses on threat intelligence, vulnerability management, security awareness, and compliance with local financial regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Process threat intelligence from multiple sources, escalate immediate risks, log activities and produce KRI metrics.
• Conduct vulnerability assessment, track remediation tickets in ServiceNow, raise SII requests for unresolved issues and become the local SME for the Email DLP solution.
• Lead security awareness campaigns: regular cyber briefings, phishing simulation metrics, cyber training days and management of critical policy acknowledgements.
• Support identity and access management by performing bi‑annual permissions reviews for the region.
• Assist in regional cyber incident response planning and training.

Required profile

• Experience in threat intelligence processing and escalation.
• Background in vulnerability assessment, remediation tracking and use of ServiceNow.
• Familiarity with security awareness programs and phishing simulations.
• Knowledge of local regulatory frameworks (DIFC, QFC, KSA) relevant to financial institutions.
