Cybersecurity & IT Lead

About the role

FundingPips, a Dubai‑based fintech, is building the next‑generation trading infrastructure. We are looking for a hands‑on Cybersecurity & IT Lead to own day‑to‑day security operations, grow the security function from scratch, and manage the IT team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead security operations: vulnerability management, patch cadence, endpoint protection.
• Run incident response: detection, containment, post‑incident review and SIEM alerting.
• Conduct access reviews, enforce least‑privilege policies and run security awareness programs.
• Manage security tooling vendors and oversee MDM operations (JumpCloud, Jamf, Intune).
• Handle IT administration: onboarding/off‑boarding, access provisioning, help‑desk escalation and SLA ownership.
• Develop internal control frameworks, policies, audit evidence and periodic risk assessments.

Required profile

• 5–8 years of experience in cybersecurity and/or IT management.
• Owned an end‑to‑end security function and managed at least one direct report.
• Hands‑on experience with MDM solutions and cloud security fundamentals (AWS IAM, CloudTrail, GuardDuty).
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, SOC 2 or similar compliance frameworks.
• Strong written communication for policies, incident reports and risk summaries.
