Data Analysis Specialist

About the role

The Data Analysis Specialist at GCGRA will support the collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of gaming‑industry data. Working under the AI and Data Solutions Architect Manager, you will turn complex datasets into actionable insights that guide regulatory decisions and oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Design and document data‑collection methodologies to ensure accurate acquisition from gaming operators.
• Maintain data‑management systems, validate and store datasets securely in line with standards.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to guarantee data integrity and compliance with data‑protection regulations.
• Perform statistical analysis to identify trends, patterns, outliers, and anomalies in gaming data.
• Support modelling, hypothesis testing, and evaluation activities for regulatory policies and enforcement actions.
• Translate analytical results into clear visualisations and actionable recommendations for decision‑makers.
• Prepare regular and ad‑hoc reports on industry performance, key metrics, and compliance indicators.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or reporting, preferably in a regulated environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, data science, computer science, economics, information systems or related field; master’s degree or professional certification is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of statistical techniques, hypothesis testing and predictive modelling.
• Familiarity with regulatory, compliance or risk‑management contexts; gaming‑industry exposure is advantageous.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
