Data Analyst – Real-time Insights for Education Hub

About the role

The Data Analyst will generate real-time insights into learner growth, pilot projects and system impact for a pioneering research and innovation hub in education. You will design and manage data systems, analyse research outcomes and produce evidence-based reports that guide strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain data frameworks, tools and dashboards for research and pilot initiatives.
• Collect, clean and manage quantitative and qualitative data ensuring accuracy, timeliness and ethical standards.
• Conduct statistical analysis, identify patterns and translate findings into actionable insights.
• Prepare clear visualisations and reports for leadership, internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with educators, researchers and partners to integrate data into innovation processes.
• Support evaluation of pilot projects, including baseline measurement and impact assessment.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices in educational data analytics and learning sciences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Education, Psychology or a related field.
• 2–4 years of data-analysis experience, preferably in education, social sciences or innovation sectors.
• Strong proficiency with Excel, R, Python or SPSS.
• Experience using Tableau or Power BI for visualisation.
• Ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of ethical data collection and safeguarding practices.
• Analytical, creative thinker with strong critical reasoning and collaboration skills.
