Data Analyst – Supply Forecasting & Inventory Management

About the role

The Data Analyst will support the Material Section by providing accurate supply forecasts and detailed inventory analysis for critical equipment systems. This position works closely with Technical Supply and Technical Planning to ensure optimal stock levels and operational readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Provide annual supply forecasting for the Annual Service Plan (ASP).
• Analyse due‑ins from OEMs, vendors, and balance on hand for assigned equipment systems.
• Coordinate with Technical Supply and Technical Planning to advise on platform stock levels and produce assessment reports.
• Review inventory data and recommend optimal line‑item stock levels for main stores.
• Establish safety and reserve levels for critical line items to ensure operational readiness.
• Track spares status and maintenance trends in collaboration with Technical Planning.
• Maintain the spares master data record and support demand analysis for assigned platforms.
• Advise Technical Supply on spares status and maintenance trends as needed.
• Facilitate requisition of authorised supplies for equipment system support.
• Apply continuous improvement and LEAN management principles.
• Ensure tools, test equipment and high‑value property are serviceable, inventoried and safeguarded.
• Support material section colleagues and maintain confidentiality of company documents.
• Perform other duties as required by the Material Manager.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply forecasting and inventory analysis.
• Ability to work closely with technical supply and planning teams.
• Understanding of LEAN and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong attention to confidentiality and document security.
• Collaborative attitude to support material section operations.
