Data Analytics Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Data Analytics Manager to lead analytics across a complex international business operating in multiple countries. The role will transform large volumes of customer, commercial and operational data into actionable insights that support senior management in improving revenue, acquisition, retention, profitability and operational performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the data analytics function across multiple international markets, establishing consistent reporting, KPIs and analytical standards.
• Develop executive dashboards covering revenue, sales, customer acquisition, churn, ARPU, usage, profitability and operational performance.
• Analyse large customer and transactional datasets to identify commercial trends, opportunities and performance issues.
• Deliver advanced segmentation, cohort, propensity, churn and lifetime‑value analyses.
• Partner with Commercial, Marketing, Finance, Product, Technology and Operations teams to turn data into measurable business actions.
• Build and manage BI dashboards and self‑service analytics capabilities, ensuring data accuracy, consistency and governance.
• Recruit, develop and manage analysts and data specialists as required.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, commercial or customer analytics, preferably across multiple countries.
• Strong commercial understanding and ability to translate analysis into clear business recommendations.
• Previous team‑management experience with excellent communication and senior stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience in Telecom, MNO/MVNO, Technology or high‑volume B2C environments is strongly preferred.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL capability.
• Proficiency with Power BI and/or Tableau.
• Python and/or R for advanced analytics.
• Understanding of data warehouses, ETL/data pipelines and cloud data environments.
• Experience with predictive analytics, statistical modelling and AI/ML‑enabled analytics.
