Data Center Campus Director

About the role

The Data Center Campus Director will lead world‑class support services for a Microsoft data‑center campus, ensuring safety, security, compliance and environmental responsibility while delivering critical infrastructure for Azure, Office 365 and other cloud services.

Key responsibilities

• Champion a strong culture of safety, security, compliance and environmental responsibility across data‑center operations.
• Lead, coach and develop multidisciplinary teams in Mechanical, Electrical, Controls and IT operations.
• Drive critical environment availability, operational performance and service delivery, reducing incidents and meeting capacity standards.
• Lead major incident response, root‑cause analysis and service recovery.
• Oversee capacity planning, infrastructure delivery and complex programmes in partnership with engineering and global teams.
• Own financial, energy and partner performance, including budgets, capex and vendor relationships.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 10+ years of mission‑critical service management experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading multidisciplinary teams in a high‑availability environment.
• Proven ability to lead incident response and communicate with senior stakeholders.
• Ability to pass Microsoft Cloud background check and other security screenings.

Required skills

• Experience with UPS systems, generators and air‑handling units.
• Knowledge of physical IT infrastructure: servers, storage, networking, capacity planning, racks/enclosures and structured cabling.
• Project and programme management experience (PMP, ITIL Foundation, CDCP, CompTIA, Microsoft, CCNA, Microsoft Operations Framework).
• Budget management of USD 5 million+ and financial forecasting.
