Data Center Infrastructure Engineer Internship 2027

About the role

Join Amazon's Field Engineering team in Dubai as a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer Intern. This role is open to UAE nationals and offers hands‑on experience with the technical infrastructure that powers AWS, including troubleshooting, root‑cause analysis and data‑center optimization projects.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot equipment failures, conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and produce Corrective Action (CA) documentation.
• Support operational issues, review complex operating procedures and assist with event support.
• Design and conceptualize data‑center upgrades to improve capacity, availability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal design engineering, server hardware, and environmental health & safety teams.
• Participate in new‑construction projects from design through commissioning and hand‑over.

Required profile

• UAE national with family book and right to work in the UAE.
• Fluent in English and Arabic (written and verbal).
• Currently enrolled in a BE/BSc in Electrical, Mechanical, Design Engineering or Building Services, graduating in 2027.
