Data Engineer

About the role

Huspy is building a global real‑estate SuperApp and needs a Data Engineer to design, build and scale its data pipelines. You will work on both batch and streaming workloads, ensuring reliable data flow across the platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain batch and streaming pipelines that feed data into Snowflake.
• Work with Kafka, Schema Registry and event‑driven architectures to deliver real‑time data products.
• Orchestrate complex workflows using Airflow, automating dependencies and ensuring data availability.
• Build containerised data services on AWS (ECR, ECS, S3) and optimise storage, compute and cost.
• Implement testing, monitoring and alerting frameworks to guarantee data quality and observability.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in data engineering or analytics engineering.
• Strong Python programming skills for ETL, orchestration and automation.
• Hands‑on experience with Airflow (or equivalent) and Kafka‑based streaming pipelines.
• Practical knowledge of AWS services (S3, ECR, ECS, IAM, etc.).
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with cloud data warehouses, preferably Snowflake.
