Data Engineer – Oil & Gas

About the role

Assist the Group Head in digital transformation need analysis and develop data engineering solutions that support the organization’s DX strategy. The role involves designing, building and maintaining scalable data pipelines for plant operations and enterprise systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines handling large volumes from plant operations and enterprise systems.
• Implement and continuously optimise ETL processes to ensure data quality, integrity and consistency.
• Support the establishment of an enterprise data foundation, defining tools, technologies and data management processes.
• Manage data warehouses and data lakes to enable business intelligence, reporting and advanced analytics.
• Establish data governance standards for access, security, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with IT teams and business stakeholders to deliver technical data solutions aligned with cross‑functional needs.

Required profile

• Master of Science in Data Analytics or a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology and Digital Transformation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and time‑management skills.
