About the role
Vanderlande is seeking a motivated Data Integration Engineer to join its Dubai team. You will work on normalising data from multiple sources for ingestion into the company’s flagship SaaS logistics platform and ensure high‑quality delivery for airport and cargo handling customers.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain code that normalises data from diverse sources for SaaS ingestion and processing.
- Design, enhance and document technical solutions for new and existing customers, ensuring sound architecture.
- Perform quality‑assurance testing and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Manage hand‑over processes to Service and Customer Success teams and keep project documentation up to date.
Required profile
- Strong analytical, logical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
- Educational background in software development, computer science, mathematics or a related field.
- Experience with at least one programming language such as Java or Python.
- Fluency in English; basic German is a plus.
Required skills
- Java or Python programming.
- SQL knowledge.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience with GitLab version control.
- Understanding of APIs and data integration concepts.
- Agile or Lean project management methodologies.
