Data Migration Specialist

About the role

The SAP Data Migration Lead will own the full data migration lifecycle, moving legacy Oracle EBS data into SAP S/4HANA. You will work closely with database administrators, developers, and functional teams to ensure a clean, accurate, and timely migration.

Key responsibilities

• Define data migration strategy, profiling, cleansing, field mapping, and validation protocols across business entities.
• Collaborate with Oracle DBAs to extract, profile, and clean legacy Oracle EBS data.
• Lead loading cycles (mock and cut‑over) using SAP Migration Cockpit, SAP BODS, or Advanced Data Migration tools.
• Create automated reconciliation reports to verify completeness and accuracy of financial, SCM, and HR data.
• Coordinate with system integrator teams to validate target schemas and obtain cut‑over sign‑off.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 + years of hands‑on data migration experience, especially Oracle EBS to SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work across cross‑functional business teams.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder alignment and sign‑off processes.
