Data Modernization Presales Solution Architect

About the role

Accenture's Data & AI practice is looking for a Data Modernization Presales Solution Architect to lead end-to-end solution design and transformation roadmaps for strategic Data & AI opportunities. You act as the bridge between client vision, sales teams and delivery organizations, translating complex business challenges into scalable technology solutions. The role covers data engineering, business intelligence, AI, machine learning and Generative AI, with exposure to Databricks, Snowflake, Azure AI and other emerging technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze RFPs, RFIs and client requirements to build Data & AI solution strategies
• Translate business needs into scalable architectures for data engineering, BI, AI, ML and Generative AI
• Design end-to-end data modernization solutions from ingestion and integration through analytics, visualization and AI-driven insights
• Define technology components such as Informatica, Power BI, PySpark, Azure Machine Learning, Azure AI Foundry, Snowflake, Databricks, AWS Glue and Google BigQuery
• Develop effort estimations, delivery and staffing models using onshore, offshore and nearshore capabilities
• Build solution plans, contribute to proposals, SOWs, commercial responses and contracts, and present solutions to clients and executives
• Review solutions with leadership teams, support client workshops and discovery sessions, and hand over to delivery teams after closure
• Travel as needed for client engagements and business development

Required profile

• Minimum 12 years of IT experience in Data & AI delivery, solution architecture or presales
• Strong experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence and large-scale system integration projects
• Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS or GCP
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data modernization and analytics solutions, and supporting large-scale transformation or cloud migration programs
• External client-facing consulting or presales experience
• Experience leading delivery teams and working with cross-functional global teams

Required skills

• Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Azure AI Foundry, Azure Machine Learning, AWS Glue or BigQuery
• Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions
• Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, filtering) and strong PowerPoint and executive storytelling skills
