Data Platform Operations Manager

About the role

Capgemini is seeking a Data Platform Operations Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operation and support of its data platform in Abu Dhabi. The role ensures platform stability, drives incident resolution and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and support activities for the data platform.
• Lead incident management, including triage, escalation, resolution tracking and closure.
• Coordinate with technical teams to resolve complex platform and distributed‑system issues.
• Provide timely updates, status reports and communications to stakeholders and management.
• Produce operational reports on incidents, SLAs, risks, open issues and service performance.
• Maintain and improve SOPs, runbooks, support documentation and escalation processes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of operational processes and service reliability.
• Ensure strong ownership and follow‑through until issue resolution.

Required profile

• 8–15 years of experience in operations, support or similar roles.
• Proven expertise in incident management, escalation handling and stakeholder communication.
• Good understanding of ITSM/ITIL practices, SLA management and root‑cause analysis.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to engage both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Structured, methodical and ownership‑driven approach to problem‑solving.
