Data Science Manager – Finance (Automotive)

About the role

The Data Science Manager will lead the finance‑focused data science team at Al‑Futtaim Automotive, driving advanced analytics and machine‑learning solutions that improve financial performance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy predictive models such as residual‑value forecasts, credit scoring, delinquency prediction and collections optimisation.
• Deliver at least two use‑cases that demonstrate tangible business impact.
• Create and maintain finance‑related KPI dashboards and risk visualisations for senior stakeholders.
• Generate monthly financial insights using time‑series decomposition, anomaly detection and stress‑testing techniques.
• Mentor a team of data scientists and ensure best practices in MLOps and version control.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or MSc in Financial Analytics, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of data‑science experience with a strong finance focus.
• Proven ability to translate complex analytical results into clear business recommendations.
