Data Science Manager – Operations (Finance)

About the role

Al-Futtaim is seeking a Data Science Manager to lead AI and data‑science initiatives within its Automotive Finance division in Dubai. The role focuses on improving operational efficiency and supporting strategic decisions through advanced analytics and predictive modelling.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver AI use cases such as price‑elasticity modelling, residual‑value prediction, predictive maintenance, churn forecasting and anomaly detection.
• Build, validate and maintain predictive models using time‑series, regression, classification and clustering techniques.
• Develop KPI dashboards and reporting tools with statistical process control and data‑visualisation libraries.
• Translate complex analytical results into clear business recommendations for cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Mentor and coordinate a team of data scientists to ensure timely, high‑quality deliverables.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience in advanced statistics, machine learning and time‑series analysis.
• Proven ability to work with large data sets and deliver production‑ready models.
• Excellent communication skills to convey technical insights to non‑technical audiences.
