DCAS Licensed Paramedic – Emergency Medical Services

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated DCAS Licensed Paramedic to join our emergency medical services team in Dubai. The role involves delivering pre‑hospital emergency care, stabilising patients and ensuring safe transport to healthcare facilities while upholding the highest standards of patient safety.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency and non‑emergency medical calls.
• Assess patient conditions and provide appropriate pre‑hospital care.
• Perform Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ALS) interventions within the DCAS scope of practice.
• Administer medications and treatments according to DCAS protocols.
• Safely transport patients while continuously monitoring their condition.
• Operate and maintain ambulances and emergency medical equipment.
• Complete patient care reports and required documentation accurately.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, hospitals and other emergency agencies.
• Ensure compliance with DCAS regulations, company policies and infection‑control standards.
• Participate in drills, training sessions and continuing professional development.

Required profile

• Valid DCAS Paramedic licence (mandatory).
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Paramedicine or Emergency Medical Services.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or equivalent).
• Minimum two years’ experience as a Paramedic, preferably in EMS or pre‑hospital care.
• Strong clinical assessment and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and remain calm.
• Physically fit and able to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Valid UAE driving licence (preferred).
