Delivery Driver

About the role

Transcorp International is looking for a reliable and experienced delivery driver. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of UAE roads and proven experience in delivery services such as courier or meal-plan delivery. The role calls for efficiency, attention to detail and a commitment to meeting delivery schedules while keeping high standards of safety and customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver goods to customers on time and accurately.
• Load, transport and unload goods safely, making sure packages are not damaged.
• Plan and optimise delivery routes using navigation systems (Google Maps, GIS, etc.), taking into account time windows, package type and delivery priorities.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in English with customers and team members.
• Follow company protocols for delivery and package handling.
• Maintain delivery logs and submit paperwork accurately and on time.
• Assist other drivers or cover extra routes and shifts when asked by supervisors.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good working order, and report any issues immediately to the fleet team.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of UAE-based driving experience, preferably in courier, food delivery or similar services.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Good knowledge of UAE streets, neighbourhoods and road systems.
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry packages.
• Strong sense of responsibility, reliability and punctuality.
• Basic English literacy, able to read delivery instructions and communicate when needed.

Required skills

• Reading maps and using navigation tools effectively.
• Strong time management and ability to meet tight deadlines.
