Demand Planner – Global After‑Sales (UAE National)

About the role

The Demand Planner will support Al Futtaim Automotive’s Global After‑Sales team by managing inventory cost and service levels across the UAE. You will improve forecast accuracy, monitor demand using Syncron, and ensure timely stock availability for customers while overseeing an inventory valued at around USD 100 million.

Key responsibilities

• Review and process back‑to‑back orders with suppliers, ensuring same‑day dispatch and accurate ETD/ETA communication.
• Monitor back orders, maintain back‑order reports and ETA trackers, and coordinate with vendors on delays.
• Support branches by processing recall and redistribution orders, monitoring auto‑replenishment, and analysing stock health reports.
• Collect market information, build statistical forecasting models, measure forecast variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Analyse lost‑sale inquiries, identify revenue‑generating parts, and work with sales to prevent last‑minute purchases.
• Maintain parts master data in SAP MDM according to guidelines.
• Track and report KPI dashboards covering service level, forecast accuracy, back‑order aging, local purchase value and lost sales.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field.
• Experience in demand planning, inventory management or related logistics functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work with cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Projects).
• Experience with SAP MDM for master data management.
• Familiarity with Syncron demand monitoring tools.
