About the role

As a Demi Chef de Partie at DELANO Dubai, you will support the Chef de Partie in preparing and delivering high‑quality dishes, ensuring consistency, precision, and attention to detail while contributing to smooth kitchen operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a designated kitchen section efficiently.
• Prepare ingredients and dishes according to recipes, maintaining accuracy and presentation standards.
• Maintain a well‑organised workstation and ensure proper mise‑en‑place for service.
• Support during service by executing tasks promptly and upholding quality under pressure.
• Follow strict HACCP and hygiene standards, ensuring cleanliness and compliance.
• Handle stock by assisting in proper storage, labeling, and usage of ingredients.
• Collaborate with CDPs, Sous Chefs, and kitchen team members for seamless operations.
• Continuously develop culinary skills under senior chefs’ guidance.
• Ensure all dishes align with DELANO recipes, plating guides, and brand expectations.
• Maintain a professional, organised, and proactive approach in a fast‑paced kitchen.

Required profile

• Formal culinary qualification or international culinary training preferred.
• Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef in a luxury hotel or high‑end restaurant.
• Positive attitude, team‑player mindset, and ability to work in a high‑pressure environment.
• Strong focus on consistency, presentation, and quality standards.
• Good understanding of basic culinary techniques and kitchen operations.
• Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and kitchen hygiene practices.
