Demi Chef de Partie – Luxury Hotel in Dubai

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join the kitchen team at Rixos Premium Dubai JBR, a luxury hotel under AccorHotel. The role supports daily food preparation and ensures high standards of quality, taste and presentation across all service periods.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and production of dishes according to recipes, standards and presentation guidelines.
• Prepare ingredients, mise en place, sauces, garnishes and other assigned food items.
• Maintain consistency, quality and portion control for all dishes served during breakfast, lunch, dinner, banquets and other service periods.
• Follow food handling, hygiene, sanitation and safety procedures, and keep the workstation and storage areas clean and organized.
• Support stock management, receiving, labeling, rotating stock (FIFO) and minimise food waste.
• Collaborate with the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef and other kitchen team members, and help train junior staff when required.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Demi Chef de Partie, Commis Chef or similar role in a hotel, resort or restaurant.
• Culinary qualification or professional training preferred.
• Good knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and international cuisine.
• Understanding of HACCP, food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• Ability to work under pressure, flexible shifts including weekends and holidays, and physically fit for long periods of standing.
