Demi Chef De Partie – Luxury Hotel Kitchen

About the role

Join the InterContinental Dubai Marina Hotel & Residences as a Demi Chef De Partie, contributing to a five‑star luxury kitchen that serves guests from around the world.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook Mediterranean dishes according to established recipes and presentation standards.
• Carry out daily mise en place for the assigned section, ensuring all items are ready before service.
• Prepare a variety of Mediterranean hot dishes, including grilled meats, seafood, roasted vegetables, rice, pasta, sauces, stews, and traditional hot mezze.
• Check the freshness and quality of ingredients, and follow proper food storage, labeling, dating, and FIFO procedures.
• Assist with daily stock checks, communicate shortages, control food waste, and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Follow HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and health‑and‑safety procedures, and support training of junior kitchen staff.

Required profile

• Experience in Mediterranean cuisine (strongly preferred).
• Previous experience as a Demi Chef De Partie in a hotel or restaurant setting.
• Strong understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Passion for food and cooking with a keen interest in learning.
• Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
