Demi Chef de Partie – Olives Restaurant

About the role

The One&Only Royal Mirage Resort in Dubai is seeking a motivated Demi Chef de Partie to join the culinary team at Olives Restaurant. You will support the Chef de Partie and Senior Chef de Partie in delivering high‑quality dishes that reflect the brand’s standards of excellence and creativity.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Chef de Partie and Senior Chef de Partie in managing the assigned kitchen section.
• Prepare and maintain mise‑en‑place for service, ensuring all ingredients are ready and correctly portioned.
• Maintain the highest standards of food presentation, hygiene, and personal grooming.
• Take charge of the section in the absence of senior chefs, delegating tasks and supervising staff.
• Train and coach junior team members to uphold quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate special functions and events, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
• Communicate guest requests and important information clearly to supervisors.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a 5‑star hotel or upscale restaurant kitchen.
• Culinary school diploma or equivalent formal training.
• Basic proficiency in English to follow instructions and interact with guests.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
