Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry & Bakery

About the role

The Arts Club Dubai is seeking a talented Demi Chef de Partie to join its Pastry & Bakery team. Working in a luxury private members’ club, you will help deliver high‑quality pastries and baked goods that meet the club’s exacting standards and delight its discerning members.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook pastries and bakery items daily under the guidance of the senior chef, ensuring consistency, quality and presentation.
• Maintain sufficient stock levels and control portion sizes according to recipes to guarantee uninterrupted service.
• Keep the kitchen and preparation areas clean and organized, adhering to hygiene and safety regulations.
• Handle and perform basic maintenance of kitchen equipment and tools.
• Follow food safety protocols, including stock rotation, temperature control, pest control and proper documentation.
• Minimise waste by managing mise‑en‑place and avoiding over‑production.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within luxury hotels or fine‑dining establishments.
• Internationally recognised professional pastry certification.
• Excellent command of English.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities with flexibility.
• Effective team communication and listening skills.
