Demi Chef de Partie – Prime 68 Steakhouse

About the role

The Prime 68 Steakhouse & ION at JW Marriott Marquis Dubai is seeking a Demi Chef de Partie to deliver exceptional steak and grilled meat dishes. You will work in a fast‑paced, luxury hotel kitchen, ensuring high standards of quality, consistency and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present steaks, grilled meats and steakhouse specialties while maintaining quality, consistency and presentation.
• Ensure food freshness, proper portion control and adherence to HACCP food safety and hygiene standards.
• Monitor stock levels, minimise waste and communicate excess or low‑stock items to the Chef.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, maintain proper storage and handling of food products, and keep production records and temperature logs.
• Communicate with culinary and service teams about menu specials, guest requirements and operational needs, and report any equipment or maintenance issues promptly.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a steakhouse chef in a luxury hotel, upscale steakhouse or high‑end restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of steak preparation techniques and food safety/hygiene standards.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
