Demi Chef de Partie – Turkish Cuisine

About the role

As a Demi Chef de Partie specializing in Turkish cuisine at Fairmont Ajman, you will support the Sous Chef in delivering authentic Turkish dishes that delight guests, while maintaining the high standards of a 5‑star beachfront hotel.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and cook authentic Turkish dishes following established recipes and quality standards.
• Assist the Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations, mise en place, and stock rotation.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Maintain high standards of food hygiene, sanitation, and HACCP compliance.
• Monitor ingredient freshness, manage proper food storage, and minimize waste.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely food delivery and smooth kitchen workflow.
• Support menu development by contributing ideas for Turkish specialties.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a Turkish cuisine kitchen or a similar culinary role.
• Knowledge of traditional Turkish dishes, cooking techniques, and ingredients.
• Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced kitchen environment.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
