Dental Receptionist

About the role

The Dental Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients at Dr. Adeba Clinic. You will create a welcoming environment, manage front‑desk operations and support the clinic’s daily workflow while applying basic marketing knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients, answer phone calls and respond to inquiries via email or messages.
• Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and manage patient appointments.
• Handle patient check‑in and check‑out, maintain a clean reception area.
• Register new patients, update records, verify insurance details, collect payments and issue receipts.
• Prepare and manage patient charts and documentation, coordinating with dental staff for smooth patient flow.
• Process insurance claims, pre‑authorizations, track outstanding balances and assist with payment‑related questions.
• Liaise between patients and dental staff, communicate daily schedules, and address patient complaints professionally.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; office administration certification is a plus.
• Previous experience as a dental or medical receptionist preferred.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and insurance procedures is advantageous.
