Deployment and Support Engineer

About the role

Ateme, a video delivery company, is recruiting a Customer Deployment and Support Engineer to support its plan to strengthen its presence in South Europe and the Middle East. The role combines project delivery, multichannel technical support and platform deployment, ideally based in Dubai with regular travel across EMEA.

Key responsibilities

• Project delivery: lead internal project kick-offs, manage deployment schedules, identify risks and mitigation plans, report progress to management and maintain customer relationships
• Customer support: provide phone, email and onsite support, manage incidents from submission to resolution, analyse and reproduce issues in test platforms, track incidents in Jira, validate new features, patches and hot fixes with customers and improve the support process
• Deployment: perform factory acceptance tests, verify interoperability with customer ecosystems, deploy platforms, generate project and maintenance documentation, prepare technical training sessions, run site acceptance tests, maintain technical notes and support pre-sales teams internally

Required profile

• Diploma in computer science or a related technical field
• Fluent English; spoken Arabic is an advantage
• First technical experience in customer support and deployment and/or R&D is appreciated
• Strong communication skills, problem-solving skills and ability to work in a multicultural team
• Willingness to travel across EMEA countries; the position is not eligible for relocation support, so candidates must already be based in or have the right to work in Dubai, Belgrade, Cluj-Napoca, Bucharest or another Southern European location
