Depot Operator – Fuel Quality Control

About the role

The Depot Operator is responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of aviation fuel stored and dispensed at the depot and apron. The role involves regular fuel level checks, sampling, and supporting fuelling and defuelling operations for aircraft.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor storage tank dips and perform physical dip measurements, comparing results with the tank gauging system.
• Conduct floating suction, conductivity, and routine serviceability checks on tanks.
• Take and manage fuel samples from filters, tanks, pipelines, and related equipment.
• Receive fuel deliveries, unload into storage tanks, and load refuellers or transfer fuel to satellite tanks as required.
• Maintain and clean all sampling equipment and adhere to HSE procedures, wearing company‑issued safety gear.
• Perform fuelling operator duties and support emergency response teams when needed.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma in a relevant field or a Secondary School Certificate.
• Minimum 3 years experience as a fuelling operator.
• Knowledge of fire safety, health, safety & environment (HSE) regulations.
• Proficiency in English and Arabic.
• Valid UAE driving licence.
