Deputy Chief Executive Officer

About the role

FH Capital is looking for a Deputy Chief Executive Officer to shape and execute its strategic vision. The DCEO will drive growth, strengthen the firm's digital and investment capabilities and secure its position as a leading investment firm in the UAE. Key priorities include transforming existing platforms digitally, launching next-generation wealth management solutions and building digital client acquisition and engagement frameworks.

Key responsibilities

• Define and implement the strategic roadmap, including expansion into FinTech, tokenization and cryptocurrencies, and oversee business development, capital raising, strategic alliances and product innovation.
• Drive growth of assets under management (AUM) and ensure sustained profitability.
• Lead the end-to-end digital transformation of wealth management, including client journeys from onboarding to servicing, and build digital platforms for portfolio management, analytics, engagement and financial education.
• Ensure investment and advisory decisions comply with UAE SCA rules, supervise investment products such as sukuks and commercial papers, and originate equity, debt and M&A mandates.
• Design and manage diversified client portfolios through traditional and digital channels.
• Oversee financial performance, budgeting, capital allocation, ALM and financial modelling, and improve processes, risk controls and operational excellence.
• Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, lead policy formulation, and represent the company before regulators and shareholders while advising the CEO and Board.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related field; Master's degree / MBA preferred.
• CFA charterholder strongly preferred; SCA certification as Investment Manager or Financial Analyst is an advantage.
• 15-20 years of progressive leadership experience in investment banking, wealth management, private banking, FinTech or similar.
• Proven track record in digital transformation, product development and managing multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience structuring investment products and managing regulatory frameworks in the UAE.
