Deputy Production Manager – Flour Milling

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Production Manager to lead day‑to‑day operations at our flour milling plant in Sharjah, UAE. The role combines technical expertise in flour milling with strong leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted production.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily flour mill production to guarantee safety, efficiency and continuous operation.
• Lead, mentor and supervise production teams to maximise productivity.
• Monitor schedules, meet output targets and maintain product quality standards.
• Optimise processes to reduce waste, improve efficiency and minimise equipment downtime.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Quality Assurance and other support functions.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and workplace health & safety regulations.
• Track production KPIs, prepare reports and implement corrective actions.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives for productivity, quality and cost efficiency.
• Manage proper utilisation of manpower, equipment and resources.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in the flour‑milling industry.
• Previous role as Production Supervisor or similar leadership position.
• Strong understanding of flour‑milling processes, production planning and manufacturing operations.
• Proven track record of leading teams and achieving production KPIs.
• Open to candidates based in the UAE or international applicants.
